OKAAAY...THIS BOOK WAS F****ING AWESOME!!! Srsly I am sooo not trusting my gut on the choice of perfect books again...iIactually thought that this series wasn’t worth my time!!

So this book describes Joran's first few days as a king. He is faced from criticism everywhere and everywhere there are enemies. Everyone wants his throne and crown but he is Joran...he doesn’t run so to save his empire he goes on to destroy the pirates forever..

This book is beautifully written and explains all of Joran's love and dedication for this kingdom. He is the king and he seeks a way to prove it to the people of the kingdom (and boy does he prove it!!)

Starting the next book, crazily fangirling about Sage/Joran (though I like him as Sage better) and soooo in love with this series!! This book is a must read for all YA fanatics out there...
