I didn’t know what was wrong with me (I still don’t) but I just didn’t feel like reading this book ever since I've bought it 2 months ago. I never did understand why some people buy a book and then just leave it on the shelf and grab something else . but I know now...it's because it's hard to keep your focus on a book that you own. Because you know that you can read it any damn time. On the other hand the book you don’t have looks like something out of a fairytale that you just have to have!! (because we all want things we can't have)

This book surprised me. I didn’t expect it to be as awesome as it turned out to be. The start of the story is really intriguing. It's the kind of start that makes you turn page after page to finish a chapter. And then after one chapter there's another then it's another then one more and so on. Everything about this story sucked me in. The kingdoms, the fraud that Connor plans, Sage's attitude (more on that later) the competitors & Mott. ( I liked Mott from the start!!!)

I liked the kid from the start of the book. He had a smart mouth, which I admire on any boy. He was witty, sarcastic and damned intelligent. Also he had no respect for the authority!!(basically you have your average bad boy right there) BUT he was also loyal and compassionate <spoiler> I totally love the way he forgives a certain person, how he helped two people and how he handled the princess near the end</spoiler> Oh and I also guessed his secret waaaaaaaaaaaay before t was revealed :P
