(Season 4. Episode 1: The Abominable Bride)
Okaaaaaaaay...wow!! this episode was the
first episode of season 4 of Sherlock, and boy did it exceed my expectations
(which Is really saying something because my expectations were pretty high) So
the question we've all been thinking since the last episode of season 3
"How the hell did Moriarity come back from the dead??!!". Basically
his episode was supposed to provide some insight to that, but, this show
wouldn’t be half as awesome if it was predictable. This was set in the 19th
century!!! (Where the original Sherlock Holmes adventures took place. Oh, and
if you're worried our favourite characters aren’t there, Don't. Each and every
character has been set into the 19th century background with appropriate roles.
Mrs. Hudson is same old, same old. Lestrade has odd looking sideburns, Mary is
the same except that she wears different stuff. Those were the normal character
changes. Here's the shocking one:- Watson. Watson had an odd twirly sort
of moustache in the drama, which looks sort of cool and kinda good for a new
look. But he chose a really odd nasal voice to portray this character so the
overall effect isn’t that good. Molly. Her character in the 19th century
was totally unexpected!! She had disguised herself as a man to work as a
coroner! And she has a moustache XD. Sherlock.
Ok after seeing Sherlock in the 19th
century I was like "OMG!!! Are you
kidding me?? HIS HAIR!!! WHY THE HELL IS IT SMALL!!!!!!!" okay. I have
a confession, I looooooove Sherlock's hair its absolutely perfect! And of course
Sherlock wears everything according to the book.(and he actually says "elementary, my dear Watson")
So over all this episode was awesome. Totally
worth my time, because face it, I have too many books, so little time...
