OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book was mega awesome sauce!!!!!!!! I mean WOW!!! You've done it again Morgan Rhodes. First off I love you for making Magnus Damora exist, then I love you for making the epic ship of Cleonus!! And then I love you for creating the fallen kingdom series (in exactly that order)
Ok so for the review, I have to admit that I was surprised to find that magnus and cleo were still fighting. I mean Magnus basically just gave her a confession of love for F-sakes!! But nvm the way Cleonus turns out is absolutely amazing!! Atleast we have one ship that is still alive and well :/
I hated that you-know-who had to die!! I mean "HE" (you know who I mean) just found her and then she has to go on and burst into flames!! (though it wasn’t her fault exactly) ooooooooh and that twist with lucia?? BLOODY WELL DONE MORGAN RHODES!! I mean wow I hadn’t even thought of that.... Amara was just bloody awesome!!! I fully expected more murders from her and boy did she exceed my expectations!! Kyan was...i don’t know how to feel about him... I mean I liked him at the start when he was with Lucia but now?? I don’t know but I kind of sympathize with him?? I mean he HAS been stuck in a prison for like EVER!!
Nic was, same old same old. Cleo surprised me with her animosity towards Magnus, Jonas was giving me a heart attack when I thought HE was going to die... I mean COME ON you can expect anyone to die anytime in this series. Also the part where King Gaius confronts Magnus and Cleo (after the best part of the whole book!!) is awesome. What happens with King Gaius is what he deserves but that last part about Elena was.....disturbing...you can imagine the theories/scenarios running through my mind. 
AND of course the ending just HAD to be something that we couldn’t resist!!! Right?? Because then it wouldn’t be a Morgan Rhodes novel :P BUT I had already guessed that part about Ashur, when Neela tells Amara about Ashur's visit to the apothecary. 
All in al this was a goddamned awesome book!!!! Pretty sure one of the best of this year!! Also this is probably the biggest review I have ever written!! I hope people read it... BTW CAN MORGAN RHODES WRITE THE NEXT BOOK BY THE END OF THE NEXT YEAR OR PREFERABLY BY THE HALF OF THE NEXT YEAR?????
