Review: The Love That Split the World

The Love That Split the World The Love That Split the World by Emily Henry
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I might be one of the few people with the unpopular opinion that
a) This cover sucks.
b)The story suckes ass.

I know. I know... its very easy to sit out there, typing my opinions on my laptop when I cant even finish more than fifteen chapters of what Im writing.... but seriously I needed to vent out my frustration at this book someway!! the only reason this book even got stars is because its name is so pretty! I loved the name and I picked it up without reading the synopsis (serves me right I suppose... but I've had some really good luck in the blind pick lately :P)
Anyways I didn't like the main character who is very insecure and selfish. Who thinks of only herself and no one else. I didn't like Beau at all because of his alcoholism and because he was generally mopey.
I felt no chemistry between the two of them It was so unreal I couldnt even force myself to imagine falling in love with someone and/or even talking to someone who is so cagey and secretive about where they live. *rolls eyes* what has happened to the teenagers of this generation?? seriously? theres like, no self preservation in them!!
and the ending???!!! uggggggggghhhhhhhhhh I didnt get it the first few times... and then I thought that I could just assume whatever I want to since I hated the book and couldn't care less :P
